This project involved creating a type specimen book for Golden, a serif typeface created by William Morris for the Kelmscott Press, while exploring printer’s note and spot color techniques. The objective was to design a modern book that honors the aesthetic of Kelmscott press and William Morris while highlighting the Golden typeface. Each page was designed to be visually engaging while maintaining clear legibility. I designed the page layouts, selected the color palette, and edited all photographs to align with the concept. The final design showcases the elegance of William Morris’ work while presenting the Golden typeface in a clear, informative way. This project challenges my ability to combine historical inspiration with modern design principles.
